I searched and searched and searched and didn't see anything remotely close to what i need to know. I have a 00 sunfire and on the center piece between the tail lights, there are two light bulbs above the license plate that i assume lights the tag plus the pontiac cut out on the center piece. I need to know how to get these out, i'm scared to death i'm gonna break something because they won't budge, twist or move at all. Anyone had to do this yet? Also anyone know what product # these bulbs are, i can't buy em till i get em out.

Side note, the operator's manual and the hayes repair manual i have make no mention to these lights, what's a guy supposed to do....

you have to take the whole black panel off to get to the lights, there are screws holding it on inside the trunk

Thanks, that's what i was afraid of. But now i know and knowings half the battle right...

yep when you open the trunk there is all little bolts similiar to what holds in the tailights , I believe like a 10 mm socket fits it remove all the nuts and the entire back piece will come off then youll be able to swap the bulbs with no problems.
