Royal Purple oil.....worth it ?

Been reading how great this stuff is and I was just wondering if any of you have tried it or knows someone who has and what experences you had with it. It CLAIMS to increase fuel mileage and HP and decrease engine were, But I'm old enough to know CLAIMS are different then facts.

Anyone ?

I think you can't go wrong with Royal Purple, Mobil 1 or AMSOil.

*shrugs* I don't know about the purple, but I've used "engine restorer" oil additive and noticed a drop in engine noise.

If on the dyno the thing had .01 more horsepower than with the previous oil they will claim HP gain.

Its a synthetic like the others, like stated above can't go wrong with any of them, Mobil 1, AMSoil or Royal Purple.

AMSoil does have a new oil filter or some junk.
You could try it I guess.

I hear its alot diffrent then other oils. I use 10w40 royal purple, and the engine runs smoother, starts up better, and makes you feel like your treating your car well. Go for it, but only if you plan on using it forever.
