whats goin on , yeah idk if anyone can help me with this..but i got a 97 sunfire 2.2, 120K on it, my question is ,,, when i get on it, say from dead stop to 110, floored ,the car shifts fine into second, but goin from second to third if i have it floored it will not shift in time and actually hit the rev limiter, i have to give it a half pedal for it to even shift into third...lol werid huh? car has limited mods, just full cool air intake and some nice interior mods.
its a 97 sunfire with a 3 spd?.........

Most likely your clutch packs are slipping and not engagaing, time for a rebuild it sounds like.

good lookin mayne, ill go ahead and rebuild the peice of @!#$, and yeah , its a 3 speed auto, comes with the SE models...
