Alright.. today i just replaced my EGR Valve due to some problems with idling and stuff.. well before i replaced it if im sitting at a stop light or just at idle the RPMs will sit at 600.. then it will drop to 400/300 then go back up to normal.. basically all u here is like i tap the gas pedal pretty much.. but it only does it at idle.. once i touch the gas and get around 800-1g+ RPM i have no probs.. I figured maybe replacing the EGR valve woulda fixed this too but it didnt.. the other problems i've had havent came back or anything.. its now just this.. Any ideas of what could be the problem? it just started maybe 2-3 months ago.. And nothing has changed to effect it unless a body kit affects that.. I've already changed teh manifold o2 sensor, fuel filter, spark plugs(Bosch Platinums, didnt seem to effect thing at the time and it was prolly a good 6months or more since i've added those..) but all the rest was like 4000miles ago(which was a year ago also), I did just change teh serpentine belt about a month and a half ago.. But i ahvent been able to think of anything to affect it other than maybe the spark plugs but i figured maybe you guys would have some suggestions as to what it could be.. it doesnt do it constantly but like once every 30sec or so.. any help is appreciated..

Would you happen to have check engine light on?. I would take a look at youre vaccum lines, My guess would be youre IAC sensor needs cleaning or replaced.

sorry forgot to mention.. No CEL.. I did clean the IAC when i replaced the belt also.. So i might need to replace it i guess but its 78 bucks.. ill see if anyone else has and other suggestions before i plan to replace it..
Im having the same problems with my turbo eco dipping down low then back up again especially when i put it in neutral while moving but i know what you mean and my car seems to be running alot hotter also.
It doesnt seem to be running hotter.. but also it doesnt matter if im in PRND..it still acts teh same.
the manifold one? I've already changed that and boy was that a PITA.. i changed it actually a year ago.. i wouldnt think it would have gone bad already.. Plus wouldnt i be gettin a code?
I would check for an air leak somewhere in the throtle body or intake manifold otherwise unplug the IAC and see if it is doing its job.
just unplug the IAC connector and see if it acts up or what?
OK figured i would answer my question for futher people who read this or find it in search... It seems that it was the EGR valve.. i no longer have the idle problem it seems.. So im guessing it just too a lil bit of running the new EGR valve to get the old crapout.. i did spray carb cleaner into the 2 ports from the EGR Valve..so i think that helped alot too..
