How far can you guys go on a tank? I can only get around 400km (250 miles) to a tank.
I've tried shifting high, shifting low, the mileage still seems to suck. Its an 01 cav with a 55 litre tank, no mods.
Is there something wrong with my car or should I expect this kind of milage for the rest of my cars life?
14.30Gallon tank, at 28/32MPG.

1996 Sunfire Gt w/2.4 auto. Latest check was 29 mpg average. I was very happy w/that. I think the O2 sensor affects your mileage. What lilbit01 said is a good suggestion. Do you have a tight sealing gas cap (evaporation)? Good luck and keep us posted. Also, I think this may be addressed in the FAQ section.
96 z24 2.4 auto... 525-550kms per tank... maybe more i dunno rite now the car has over 300kms on it and the gauge is bearly below 3/4's... although i rarely drive the car much anymore...

02 4 door Z24 auto and I get around 530km in town. Don't push the gas so much, start slowly and don't be so stress out. My auto tranny doesn't shift above 3000rpm. I was making it shift at 4000rpm when I first got the car but the mileage was lower.

Just to make it worst, I get around 430 all the time in January with temperature around

i get between 290 and 320 MPG depending on how fast i drive to work and how much city driving i do after work.

i get an easily 350 a tank i i dont really watch it.. and damn near 400 i watch it. Thats just city driving i think i coul pull off 420 on freeway or so, but then again i pretty much go 80 so it wouldnt change much.

97 Z 2.4 Manual shift, I've got 220 000KM on the odometer and I can still get between 580Km-620Km per tank (55 lliter) mostly highway however....
I get 20 mpg on my 98 z24.............thats cus the engine was a piece of @!#$ and just blew on me thou. Ill get back rto u on that once i get a new engine in
34mpg here, I do a lot of highway driving + recent complete 100 000km checkup/tuneup. (fuel filter, plugs, seafoam, K/N Filter, oil change/lucas synthetic stabilizer, alignment, tires all properly inflated.)

i'm going to have to try some seafoam or something. within the last 5000 miles or so i've cleaned my kn filter and replaced my fuel filter. car was doing good between 27-28mpg. the last two tanks its dropped to 25 and then to 24mpg. thats not cool with gas being as high as it is.

2001 cavyz and mine gets about 350 tank sometimes 400 just depends what kinda drving im doin
My average mileage over the past year is 23.7 mpg. The best I've ever done was last weekend. I managed to get 32.53 mpg. I had 650.3 km's on that tank and could probably have made it to 700 if I had more distance to cover on the highway.
Before putting the new exhaust on, the best I'd ever done was 30.82 mpg over 352 km's.
I've also got the 01 LD9 with Getrag.
