Over the past few months ive noticed that my 2.4L has been starting to run really rough. When I start it up it sounds like its a diesel engine

Is it coming from the left side (pulley side) of the motor...Sounds like a timing chain tensior problem.
Not sure which side but ill check it tomorrow
if it is the tensioner what do i have to do to fix it?
