my car has been having some major idle issues, and it gave me this P0502 vehicle speed sensor circuit low input. what do you guys think?

Well Bigtemps : My thought would be youre vehicle speed sensor circuit is wornout, Its needing replacement. I believe its a pain in the butt where it located, It should be in the back part of the transmission, Should have a single bolt holding it in place, And a wirring harrness going into it.

i have this same problem, the speedo does not work, it also idles higher, between 100-1100, and surges between that, it also randomly dies. if i figure it out ill post it. just not sure how to remove the vss, i remove the bolt and retainer, but it does not budge.
