turning signal/parking light
Saturday, March 25, 2006 12:03 PM
Hey everybody, just wanted a little input. My driver's side bumper light (turn signal/parking light) Is not lighting up when I have the headlights, or the parking lights on. It will still flash when I use the turn signal. but it will not stay lit up like it is supposed to. I have changed bulbs, I have switched the drivers and passengers bulbs back and forth. I really don't know what else to do. The only thing that I can think of is to go change the socket. Does anyone know how much one of these are, or have any other suggestions. Any input would be greatly appreciated

I had the same problem on my 99 cavalier with the passenger side bumper signal. I changed the socket and it has worked ever since then. See if you can find one from a beat car, otherwise brand new the are pricey.

sounds to me like u have a burnt out bulb somewhere.. you have two lights in your tail light make sure the side small bulb isnt blown.

having one of the tail light bulbs out would make the front bumper light not work???? I'm confused. If anything I could see it not working at all, but now it just isn't working as a parking light
