Okay heres the sitch I had a wreck about 2 weeks ago well just got car back about 4 days ago and the didnt fix the radiator theres a little hole in it well i have to wait for insurance to go thru anyways I have just been keeping it filled with water. 3 days ago i put a airaid throttle body spacer on, and today was the day from hell i kept having to pull over and turn the car off to let it cool down, but in addittion my car was having hard time starting afterwards the engine was turning but it was like it just wasnt getting gas, also it randomly started making my engine, oil ABS, check gauges lights come on and my lights sometimes barely work and every now and then all the gauges go off but the lights stay on and then randomly they will fix themselves what the heck is going on here?

third... get rid of the throtle body spacer and go shake the hand of the guy who sold it to you.

he deserves his respect for taking your money from you!

throtle body spacers do ABSOLUTLY NOTHING on fuel injected cars. unless you secretly converted to carburated combustion, then it is useless.

in a carburated engine, a throtle body spacer allows for more fuel to be mixed in the carb. it accomplishes that by adding space between the carb and the manifold(not 100% sure) and increases the volume. basically its like buying a bigger carb.

now with injection engines, the increased volume is not obtained the same way. only a bigger throtle body can achieve this. a throtle body spacer will simple do nothing but impress people who dont know what they are talking about.

sorry to jack your thread, but i needed to say that.

i would check your thermostat first, since that will only cost you like $15.00. secondly, maybe you have diluted your coolant too much, water evapurates with the high heat of being inside a coolant chamber.

Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!

Spacers should only be used as a place to tap in for a NOS feed other then that that make great paper weights.

Okay throttle body spacer no good thats nice to know thanks guys at least i didnt spend much on it friend of mine ordered wrong one so I got his for 20 bucks but at least it kinda makes the car sound cool. And Radiator ...I am getting a new one for free the insurance is paying for it and my codes weird thing is i have gone to autozone several times cuz it goes on and off and i keep getting different ones, like the first was a gas tank lid changed that and it went off second was some kind of emissions thing and it went away by itself later on and now its saying something about a camshaft sensor error?? I am hoping this will mostly fix it self cuz it only happens when the car starts getting hot but i dunno whatcha think?

Probably from the car overheating (NOT GOOD)... If you are having to drive then pull over to let the car cool down... you should not be driving the car... It was obviously not fixed right to start with... I'd go to my insurance and tell them you want a rental car until it is fixed right b/c you are only doing damage right now!!!

The over heating is most likely causing the issues with the sensors but it's possible that something was damaged in the computer or the harness from the accident. I'm not sure how bad the wreck was so this is only an assumption... I'd have the insurance pay to have the car checked by a Mechanic as it started as a result of the accident.

Just my $0.02...

Don't just add water. You need to add a 50/50 mix of water and engein coolant. Water just evaporates and doesn't cool anything. Not sure if you knew that, cause you said you were just adding water.
