What can I expect at 170k?

My girlfriend just got a 1996 4dr. Cavi 2.2 from her aunt with 174,000 miles on it. The engine was replaced about 90,000 miles ago. We're going to get all new tires, brakes, oil change, and lube job to start off with and I was just wondering what are some other things I should look into replacing in order to help it run as well as can be expected? What are some common problems with these cars once they begin approaching 200k?

The 2.2 is prone to head gaskets leaking, but on the plus side my neighbor did a whole rebuild on his after the head gasket went at 150,000 miles. There wasn't even a ridge to cut to push the pistons up and the bearings showed no signs of visual wear. People blast the 2.2/2200 but its a good daily driver with enough torque that you don't have to rev the bejesus out of the thing.
