Well Kyle Mackey, youre best bet would to do is to take the intake tube to auto parts store to get it properly fitted.

Unfortunately no... If you purchased the 2in by mistake recently, see if you can do an exchange for a 3in.

aight, thanks guys, that does help me, unfortunatly i did not purchase anything, the only thing i purchased was a vibrant air intake for my 2.2. its one of those ones that hooks to the little black box on top of the engine. and the filter it came with doesnt give me that air suckin sound i want. so i figured that if i was able to get a K&N cone filter it would help. What i was also thinking is that the local auto parts store, has a 4 inch 90 degree exhaust bend. And the local hardware store has rubber fittings from 4 inch to 3 inch. And i was thinking if i bought 2 of the rubber fittings that are 4 inch to 3 inch, and bought the 4 inch exhaust bend, maybe i would get that air sucking sound i want so very much. If you have any tips or anything just let me know. Aight?? thanks for all you help now and in the future.

If you want an air suckin sound, remove the air box assembly and put a plastic bag with a little hole over your throttle body.

Otherwise just know that you're getting good enough air flow from your K&N filter
