So car hasnt been able to start in about a week i was finally able to get an OBD2 scanner and was wondering if anyone could with these codes and why their making my car not start...

P0171 - SYSTEM TO LEAN (BANK 1)
P0300 - RANDOM/MULTIPLE ENGINE MISSFIRE
P0440 - EVOPORATIVE EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION



Any help at all would be appreciated... also i changed my fuel filter, air filter, coil packs, ign module ...

Srry the car is a 2000 cav z24 with manual trans

how does it not start?.. does it crank does it sound like it wants to start ect what are the symptoms

ok the "P0440 - EVOPORATIVE EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION" is a code u dont need to worry bout right now.

"P0171 - SYSTEM TO LEAN (BANK 1)" is most likely caused by the misfire.

P0300 - RANDOM/MULTIPLE ENGINE MISSFIRE. this could be a few things, bad connction to injectors, (check your main injector connector to the left of the fuel rail, white connector) could be bad ignition module, could be a bad ECM, wiring harness, bad fuel a number of things, but start with the easy stuff first, check to see if you have spark, make sure your injector connector is tight, and see if you have fuel
