My 2001 Sunfire just hit 118,000 miles this past weekend. I don't think you drive enough
I do a number of road trips. I guess it makes a difference work is just under 2 miles from my door. Going to be less in a while they are moving to area.

My car has been on many road trips and work is about 5 mi from my house and school anther 15 mi.
Thanks for the help!
It IS time to change the coolant.
yea i m at 102,000 i changed the plugs and dumped all the coolent out put some new stuff in...next i need to do is the fuel filter...u should start with the little things too!
Goodluck!
Consider having the hoses, water pump, and thermostat changed while the coolant is drained. Also have the oil pump done soon before it gets risky to run with it. Time the oil pump with an oil change to make it worth the down time.
Thanks guys for all the help. I'm hoping to get all this done this wek or early next week.
I don't think you need to worry about the oil pump at 100,000 miles.
I had my oil pump done at 100K miles. Call me crazy, I call it insurance against it going 10K or 15K miles later. I didn't know how long they last in GM engines, and didn't want to leave it to chance. Pump dies, engine gets oil starved, down time in the shop, ka-ching, ka-ching $$$. It was cheaper for me to have it done when I could plan for it. As I recall, the old pump did have a litte wear on it.
179k and 121k on my cars same oil pump..lol but did just have to do the water pump n timing chain damn 2.4's
