2001 cavy z24 2.4l

I bought the car at about 32,000kms in April and now she has about 75,000.When sitting in park its a slight shake but it seems to be getting worse.

I really think its the fuel filter because as i know it hasn't been replaced since when the first owner bought it.

could this be a spark plug problem to???

i was told the 2.4s have a differen't ign,as they don't have any spark plug wires but boots.Where would i beable to buy these are what are they called if i do call around to the local parts stores.

any help

Fuel filter, air filter and oil filter should replaced periodically....for what you say I suspect an "o" ring or more from the fuel injectors might be letting air get in, this will produce a shake idling not too strong though...

How about a fouled EGR valve? I myself had a misfire on my old Sunbird and that ended up being the problem for me. Fuel filter would also do it like Luis stated. The Bird was a learning expirence for me...thankfully its gone (2 clutches andn headgaskets later lol).

As to the oil filter, fuel filer, air filter

I had a oil change last week at the dealer ship

so is there any way to tell if one of the o-rings are gone

I honestly fell it more on any littler hill, but recently it sounds like its going to stall but the RPMs catches it self.

but when it does hesitat it kind of makes you sick after a while

i don't know but everything leads to new plugs and i guess boots(still don't know how much they are are where to find them)and the fuel filter and maybe even the pump

I'd say to start with the plugs, wires, and fuel filter. Just go to a local parts dealer and tell them you want new plugs and wires for your car and they will point you in the right dirrection.
