Well i have a small pinhole in my rad. on the plastic. I was just wondering what is the strongest crap i can even buy to repair it? i know it will undergo alot of pressure and heat so i need something strong its apart right now so responses are apperciated
you could try JB weld. they sell it at auto zone...its about as strong as welding or brazing
JB weld wont work...tanks are made of resin.....
epoxy may work....
I'd say rough it up with some 220 -320 sandpaper and get a tiny square of glass mat and glass it over. try this on a corner first though...something that wont matter if it melts...I'm not sure if the glass will melt the tanks.

i already tried jb weld.. i went to the parts store and picked up some stuff forgot wut its called but its rated at 500 degrees.. its some kind of stuff you mix had to pull the whole damn radiator to do it right. i would of gotton a new rad. but i dont have time to order it and wait and im not going to pay expensive store prices. it seems to be working ive drove on it a couple hours if it ever leaks again ill just buy a new rad.
just have it repaired I paid 65 dollars to clean and replace the end tank, then you dont have to worry about it blowing ot at a bad time
65 to replace it or 90 for a new one.. i just spent 5.00 on some patch @!#$ so if it fails down the road ill jus buy a new rad.
Let's hope you're down the right road when that happens.
its a pinhole leak not the hoover dam
