B0005-In-Park Saftey Switch Malfunction
Had that stored as a code in the BCM.....but I have a manual, WTF?
Anybody have any idea what this means??

Its the switch that lets the BCM know you've pushed the clutch pedel down to allow the car to start.

Oh, could that be caused by me not pushing it down all the way and trying to start the car? lol....I've done that a couple times....

Can you start your car in gear?
If so than this means that the safety switch is indeed malfunctioning.

well yea 1st-5th, but your suppossed to be able to, its a manual.....now if I dont press in the clutch pedal all the way then no.....

So yeah..thats working...so maybe something else than....
I'd try what you said earlier about not pushing it all the way down....
Clear the code and try to start the car w/o pushing the clutch down...than check the codes and see if its there again.
