Air/Fuel at Idle

Any one have an idea on waht a 2001 auto Z24 should run for A/F at idle. Should it be 14.7 or somehting higher. Mine is at 14.7 at idle not sure waht its at when I get on it. My Gas mileage has went down consideribly and i thnk this mite be whast wrong.

14.7 is about right, but it should bounce back and forth between lean and rich.

well what about RPMS mine is at lie 1100-1300 when warmed up. I thnk its supposed to be at 800rpm. Any idea on what is wrong??????/

It should actually be around 650, you might have a bad TPS sensor.

No its not a TPS sensor i just got a new one not to long ago. The high rpm has been like that ever since the GM Dealer here installed my new motor.....blew the last one up.....but yea its been at taht high idle ever since.....

well when i pull my map sensor off it drops down to 650.....this is confusing.....could that be my problem?

ya ur ideling like a 5speed. I dont know much about map sensors but get a multimeter and test it. theres another thread about this around here lately
