Does that mean I have a RS, or is it just saying that its either a base model or RS?

Oh. Well I thought if I had a RS there'd be a RS emblem on the trunk or something.

no there isnt an emblem but usually there is a sticker on the side molding saying ralley sport
Shouldn't there be like a Rally Sport splash vinyl along the sides? All the Rally Sports that I've seen have had this graphic and I think etched headrests too.

Alot of 95-99 Base Models come up on carfax like that. My bottom of the barrel (no options at all, even had the unpainted bumpers) comes up that way. But now you can sell it for the kbb price of a RS and not a Base Model and make a lil more off it hopefully.

my 02 z24 came up as an ls sport on carfax and on my insurance. it was a z24 sedan with the z24 badges and 2.4 engine...never cared to figure out what the deal was.

Because that was a split year. half of 02's were Z24 w/2.4L
the other half were LS Sport w/2.2L ECO
They just don't really pay attention to detail...

thats what i always figured. made it a pita when i went to trade the cav in though. had to explain to them why the carfax said something the car didn't. they thought i did an engine swap and wanted to give me 500 bucks for the car.
