i am getting sick of this crap. i tried to get scammed when i was listing my egr simulator.
this stuff didnt happen on the .org many years ago. it was easy to sell stuff.

Do you live under a rock?? They send you a conterfiet check,usually for more than what they owe you, so you cash it, and get the money and send them back the part and/or the left over cash. Check bounces and your out all the money plus possibly the part...
yeah i read somewhere that those guys take over 500 million dollars a year just from stupid americans,

im sorry but i got an email worded that same way on here when i was trying to sell something and i knew to stay away... you can tell by reading them that somethings not right...

I wrote them back and said paypal only and only for the exact amount....never heard from them again. They are usually from Europe and I think I've got an email on almost everything I've listed in the last year!

exactly....it happened to me a while ago...before this became a big thing....no one really know about it...lost about a grand or so...i was like "wow...this guys an idiot....im gonna make so much on this deal"....oops....live and learn right

Hey dont feel to bad, my buddy lost 10k.
This was last year and he had no clue about the scam, i mean he spends zero time online and just got on to sell an older car he had.
Whats funny is when you recieve emails from multiple email addresses and all of them are worded exactly the same.
ya it sucks. i know it is isnt a .org issue only. just saying i never had these problems back in the day selling crap on here.
but i have learned to be careful and cover my a$$.
