POMONA, Calif. - In a season full of record-setting performances and non-stop excitement, four championships have come down to the finale of the 10 race Summit Sport Compact schedule, the Nitto NHRA World Finals presented by Subaru Performance Tuning and Import Tuner at Pomona Raceway, Oct. 23-24.
The 2004 season has been a fantastic roller coaster ride with track and national records set at each stop along the way. Parity has been at an all-time high, with four out of the five professional categories heading to the final race of the year undecided. As the technology in the sport has evolved, each of the drivers and crewmembers has not only adapted, but also forwarded the progression of the industry by pushing each and every part to the limit, generating unprecedented results. |
