Super Chevy Shows are one of the largest car enthusiast and Motorsports attractions in the nation. In 2001, AutoStar Productions celebrates its 21st season with 21 events at premier drag racing facilities across the United States. Each event is filled with activities that are sure to satisfy any Motorsports fan! The professional drag racing show includes the popular racesearch.com Nitro Coupes, which is an exclusive class that appears only at Super Chevy Shows, incredible 300mph jet cars, and wheelstanders. Also featuring racing superstars such as "Big Daddy" Don Garlits, "Dyno Don" Nicholson, and Hayden Proffitt. All of this combined with the largest Sportsman Bracket Racing Series in the country translates into nonstop action and excitement on the track! The show portion features hundreds of the best and most beautiful cars in the region. Other highlights include a Performance Restoration Marketplace, where manufacturers showcase their products to attendees & participants alike, a huge Swap Meet, and plenty of cars for sale in the Car Corral. ESPN2 covers all the action at 13 events with 26 half-hour TV shows. All 21 Super Chevy Shows are geared toward providing the entire family with a fun-filled weekend at an affordable price! |
