i thought about that, as well as a style like the 95-99's have with the corner and headlamp as one piece

03-05 projectors in cf??? that would be nice
cf could be a possibility down the raod. first thing would be to make a prototype of each, then make molds of them all
i currently have an extra set of 00-02 headlamps and a set of projectors....so those will be the first prototype i make. i actually plan on starting the first set tonight. i went got some supplies on lunch..
the first 00-02 prototype will be a single projector setup probably...not a dual

yeah, IMO if you make lights for the 00-02s, you really need to make them ONE PIECE lights and include the turn sigs. it wont be that much extra work but it will look 1000x better. fiberglassed projectors with stock corners would just look out of place, just like it does on that SEMA cav.
beyond that (and a few minor details when production time comes....) i think youve got a real winner on your hands, man!

im going to be in need of sample sets of all make/model headlight and corner housings.....so if anyone has some sitting around, let me know and we can work something out.
current needs:
00-02 cavalier corners
95-02 sunfire headlights
03-05 sunfire headlights
03-05 cavalier headlights
not sure at this point if its even worth bothering with the 95-99 cav headlights since they have the most options out currently

honestly....i wouldnt. 95-99 cavs have more of EVERYTHING right now. they can wait their turn for once

well, im obviously gonna aim to make them as cost effective as possible, but especially the 03-05's that need 3 projectors per headlight...means alot more cash.
figure each set of 2 costs at least $100, so thats $300 in just materials to start
and thats 100$/pair without HIDs isnt it? so theres a couple hundred $ more for HID. Unless you only go hid on the driving lights, wich would save a couple bucks...
im just gonna swap an 02 front end on and get headlights for that lol

so now im only in need of:

03-05 sunfire headlights
im gonna start on the 00-02 cav headlights tonight, and I will start on the others once they are in my posession

thats correct, that would be using either H1 or H3 projectors. HID conversions would be more. as far as installation, ill have to see what happens. I may do something where anything HID will have to be assembled by the customer, which will cut cost down a bit and save me from issues like Josh had with melting.
