I recently acquired a 2.1mil LED underglow kit (thanks WhiteRaven
) -- BTW they won't work for what you were thinking. The PCB's don't flex that far. Had to drive 3 hours for a new polycarb tube, but got the tube for free since (apparently) it wasn't in their inventory, so it was worth the trip
So I went to go and install 'em and everywhere I could find, I ran into a random critical bolt that happened to be in the way, or the optimal mounting spot would only allow one side and the other end hung free.
So, JBO, I need some assistance. Could you post pics of where you installed the tubes?
When I installed my underbodies, I had to move the side tubes more so towards the center of the car. I know with the Cavalier's that there are brake lines and what not right near the side that can interfer, so it won't work, but I had to move mine a couple inches towards the center for there to be no issues. You might have to do that.
hey i got a a tip for install... don't... riciest thing ever....
Hey, I got a tip for ya Clay. These aren't going on my car, so

I got a tip, don't post in someone elses topic about underbodies if all you are going to do is start s*it over it.
When my friernd mounted his underglow neons, he just screwed screws into the underside of the car. Maybe not the best solution ever, but it's worked...
I was happy when I heard my car ran 10s. Then I found out that was 0-60.
When i installed mine I just got longer screws and mounted them in the same locations the side skirts were mounted.
Kardain- I simply drilled small holes in the lil metal lip thats runs along next to the side skirts, then mounted the tube holder deals to those with bolt/ nut combo. Or you could use zip-ties, but they break alot, so use like 12 on each tube, lol.

i was at the beach yesterday and this cav was there bumpin his system and showing off his under glow and i mean reallly showing it off...u could see about 3/4 of the tubes under there and everything...which were also held on by like 123890712837528905 zip ties on each one...now it wasnt ghetto-ly hangin off it...he just didnt have any sideskirts and his car wasnt dropped so you could tell it was flush...which is the worst way to show off your under glow imo...i like the hidden tube, kitted, and slammed look better...but anyways...what ever floats your boat
the cardomain
Cool. If you would, that would be great.

Not really, thats how mine are and you can't see the tubes at all. I have mine installed in good areas. My rear is basically under the spare tire area, my front is right behind the sheild in the front (I forgot the name), and my side tubes are mounted more so near the middle of the car, but their still flush against the bottom of it. You can see my tubes if you are a nice distanc away from the car (obviously with no skirts or drop), but if you are near it, you just see a nice bright glow from underneath. So it all depends on where you mount them up if they'll look good or not.
Just what I was looking for. Thanks, DeadBob
