Piggyback Fuel Computer with 12 correction points in 200 RPM increments. + or - 50 % in each rpm increment. Get a wideband unless you allready have one. Hook it up correctly and search out some post in the boost forum . It i s not a p o s . It pulls fuel just fine for me. And here are your instructions you are looking for.

Doesn't the safc 2 have a wideband already in it?
Project Yellow Blur Is Under Way ! ! ! ! !
Well i mean i have it hooked up and all that stuff and i know what the purpose of it is, I just dont understand exactly how to use the thing.
I'm diggin this one up. I've been looking for some actual info as to why it does/doesn't work. Some say it does. Others that it doesn't. One comment was that our cars don't rely on map sensor signal, which I am assuming is the method the safc uses to adjust fuel. My friend uses one to tune 300 whp on his tib and he likes it a lot. He is gettin awesome afrs and everything is working flawlessly. I am just wondering why the feelings on here are so mixed and if I will be able to tune my na mods or if I should go with something else like hp.
Stay away from the SAFC Matt. Our cars, like I said before, fuels based on TPS and RPM, nothing about MAP. The SAFC works by adjusting the MAP signal. The spark table is RPM and MAP based, so the only thing you are doing is advancing or retarding your timing.

sweet. thanks for explaining it. I guess I'm gonna hafta go hp or ms.
how do you advance or retard timing on the SAFC i have one and i never knew that you could do that
Its not an option on the safc. He is saying that you will affect timing instead of fuel because of the way our @!#$ works. I'm sure its not going to be a reliable easy way to adjust timing.
are ya shure that the fuel is tps and not map
that just sounds odd to me a
not trying to start trouble just looking for some info to back that up
cause im looking into the safc2
also is it diff for obd1 and obd2 cars
hpt is obd2 only and i see you have the 2.4 ......... im obd1 and 2.2 still the same?
