I went and got my Z24 tuned on the dyno with HPT. The car is completely stock with the GM supercharger system which is also completely stock. Initial pulls gave me 171.93 whp and 173.72 wtq. After some tuning I ended up with 179.10 whp and 176.52 wtq. It doesn't seem like much however I was able to get 30 lb/ft at 3000rpm and an average of 8.5 wtq over the whole power band and 3-4 whp over the whole power band. The power leveled off at 5900, so getting an intake and exhaust would let me pull all the way to redline. I am going to scan the dyno graph and post it soon as I can. I was really impressed with the power the kit made and the low end torque I was able to pick up. My fans turn on sooner, speed limiter increased to 160.
Sounds good,def. get that boost gauge and a wideband if you don't already have one.Header,full exhaust,and solid mounts will give you a decent increase.Is the car a manual or auto?Curious if any tuning was done to the trans. if it's an auto.
