Europeans are always getting the nicer cars. If GM would just bring in a couple of the cars produced by Opel and Holden maybe they'd make some money.

i'm betting those headlights will directly bolt on the Cobalt

actually, the more i look at it i'm positive that whole front bumper would directly fit the Cobalt too! Hmmmm, now i'm thinking Cobalt again.

Are you talking about
this?

But let me be the first to say, this should have been the next Cavalier/Cobalt or whatever name you want to give it.
Instead the U.S. gets a bulbous Cavalier. Sigh...

look closer it has the same break as the Cobalt. the line IS fine but it's there. and it even incorporates the Cobalts minor wheel flare. now that bumper and those headlights would improve upon the Cobalts looks 100 fold.

i saw an opel astra here in michigan one day. had a manufacturers plate so maybe they do have plans of bringing them over?
no, i've seen a few Opel mini-vans, and a couple of last gen Astra coupes at Great Lakes Crossing and a couple of Tigra's on 94 and down river, followed a Vectra on 75 south to ohio once. all had manufacturers plates. and this was from around 1998 to 2004. none of those cars....with the exception of the Astra (i.e Cobalt) ever came of it. i guess since they can't be sold or licenced here GM brings them here with manufacturers plates so they can do testing they can't do overseas?

this is exactly what i saw.. same color too
i have a feeling that GM will Release this car here as the Cobalt SS hatchback
its basicly the same car guys ... delta platforum and all
Way better than the cobalt, that's for sure..
Dark blue 2002 Z24, 2.4 Ltr.
No offence, but those headlights aren't even close. The
Cobalts are longer and have a sharper edge at the outer 'tips'
too bad though......
damn, they need to bring OPEL in the US!
