My first few parts have started to roll in this week!
I will be doing some work on my 6 over then next few months, so I will keep this thread alive with pics and updates
The box fits one 12" offset and my amp will be mounted next to it. As well as fitting in perfectly in my trunk it looks stockish back there lol
My amp is an Infinity Reference 1300a Around 300rms. Not alot of power but enough to complement the stock Monsoon system
I normally go Alpine in my cars but im changing it up with the 6 and going all Infinity :schenko:
Thanks for lookin
Nice stuff, keep us updated. So what kind of struts do they offer for these 6's?

Well since their is ZERO aftermarket for this car, the best struts are KYB and they are the stock replacements... No way am I going to pay 600 for struts I basically have already. From what people tell me the ride isn't real harsh. Theirs still a decent ride quality just a little more stiff
Next week I get to order my wheels and tires then lip kit
yum. i'm liking it! u gonna get the bigger spoiler to?

Before you take the springs off, talk to Koni and find out what measurements they would need. I'd bet they could find you a set of inserts that would work (with some J-style cutting obviously).

very very very very good idea...
Well I did what was suggested. I contacted Koni knowing it would cost me an arm and a leg to get something custom made.... And I was wrong
It will actually cost me and arm, leg, a few fingers, and my first born not to mention 6 months of waiting to get my hands on a one off set for the g6 coupe.
Im looking at upwards of $1700 and 6 months wait time plus no warranty unless they mass produce.
The price was for Koni Yellows
No thanks but it was worth a shot
I bet that within a year they will be mass produced...jsut wait it out and get a cheaper price and all that...
Tell them you don't want a full shock, just an existing insert with the same physical dimensions. The kind they use for J-body fronts, Taurus rears, etc...

Rates felt similiar to Sportlines IMHO. Going to be firm for sure on stock struts. However it's not a j-body so I predict a better ride than I had.
Drop was a really nice rake, the powdercoating held up better than Sportlines, and amazingly after probably an est. 40k miles of use the GR-2's they were mated with still showed good rebound.
Looking like its gonna be tits....but it would be more tits if there was more PINK!

RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
Is that box made for the G6 or did you make it? Either way not bad....
I like where this is going, giggity giggity...
Paint Signature FTMFW!^
Staggered at all? I don't care that it's FWD. Body begs for it.
I wanted to go staggered but with this bolt pattern 5x110 ... its not a popular pattern and I had to work with what was available
As for the sub box it was custom built to fit the g6 once i pull the car out Ill be taking some better pics of everything
