Nice find, but I wouldn't pay $700.

what do ya feel it's worth?

It looks like a pile, and looks like it has been sitting on the ground forever...

I mean if you want to keep collecting scrap metal... go for it, but I wouldn't waste my money. Especially not for a half tgutted, rusty heap that doesn't even have a full numbers matching engine.

I'd try $400 cash if you really want it, I mean @!#$ getting it loaded and onto a trailer will be fun with no rear end under it.

I paid $300 cash for my 69' C/10 and the only thing im proboly gonna end up reusing on it is the frame, doors, and hood. Everything else is rotted to hell and not worth reusing.

plus is the nose looks pretty straight and the hide away headlights , appear to be complete

itll probably cost 10-20k to restore it and alot of time

Um a a real 340 bare block is worth more than $700....

I think it's a really good deal. I'd buy it as long as the the frame, trunk, and floors were decent. I actually like the 71's especially with the hide away headlamps.

A 69 charger in that condition would be pushing 7-10k. I've seen many 71-74 chargers in that condition for 2-3k at swap meets.

Go do some research on some mopar boards. It will cost a fair amount to fix, but it's one of the last few afforable mopar muscle cars out there. I'd make a richard petty race car clone out of it and drive it on the streets.

could always build it into this

Re: look what i found!!!!!!!

id do it . if you restred that car on a budget you wont need to drop 10-20 k into that care. from that it looks it seems pretty solid, as long as there isnt any major rust (like full floor pans or full quarters needed) youll build it for less then 5k ... YES it can be done too. ive been around these cars long enough to know how to do the work right and not spend a @!#$ load of money on them . besides theres Carlisle. spring, fall and mopar nats. it dont have to be a full out #'s matching Pebbel Beach type of resto, just build it so that its a driver

If it was a 70 or below I would definantly buy it, but with it being a 71 let it RIP.

jew em down to 350 and buy it. keep it or part it out and triple or quadruple your money. 71-74 chargers (with an emphasis on 71/72 rts) are where its at IMO.

No, I meant loose papers you could drop that basketcase on to hold em down. Good call on skippin it, its a shame, but shes too far gone

I actually really like that body style. Sure, the 69 is the most popular, thanks to a certain orange one... I'd love to do a 71 to be a little different.

It would have been a nice project to have, but there's no sense in trying to spend money you don't have for something in that condition. Good decision.

Yes, but at a considerably high cost. If he doesn't have $700 to spend on it (which really isn't bad if the block is in great shape), then there's no way he can afford to do that car justice.

I've always dug the "fuselage" body styling on those year Mopar B-bodies. Believe it or not, the reason they were designed that way was to maximize the advantage had with adding the Daytona/Superbird nose & wing pieces in NASCAR racing that were introduced in previous years.

Go beyond the "bolt-on".
