So the Jeep I picked up right now it needs minor crap done to pass emissions but I couldn't pass on the deal. I picked up a 1988 Jeep Comanche 4x4.. It has the 4.0 I6 and a 5 speed.
It spent most of it's life up in Sedona for a Jeep tour place. It had a new tranny put in and transfer case and new exhaust. Also has some cust billet trans braces as well. She needs the distributor replaced and a cat put on with the 02 sensor. When they did the exhaust they took the cat off and didnt use a 02 sim. Oh and it needs new tires. Other then that though I'm looking at lifting it about 3"s I just need to find where they have the roll bar for it and the brush guard for the front.

I want one, 2wd, 8ft bed. Although I think I'd dump the 4.0L for a GM 4.2L I6.

Did you buy a Pink Jeep?!?! ![](/global/images/emoticons/bj.gif)
No thankfully. It came from "Cheap Jeep Rentals". The car fax report on it turned out to be fine nothing major. It has 140k miles on the Original Motor. It still runs strong except for needing a few changes.

How many steps to heaven, Doc?
...Ah, metaphysics.
I went on one of those tours... they said they never flipped one but they've seen alot of personal jeeps flipped by overconfident tourists. Here's our Jeep...

Those will come soon enough. Only one I have is a dark one from when I had it towed home after the starter locked up.
