Looking for car (new requirements :P )

ya so sorry in advance for starting a new thread but i knew noone would respond to the other one anymore. Ive thought about it and did the math and Im going to have to change up my requirements in a car a bit:

$8-10k
good mpg
good on insurance

instead of looking for a fast car, im more leaning towards a nice car, fully loaded, nice comfortable interior etc..
reason im changing it is because I found out that to get good insurance rates i need 3 years saying im paying my insurance (which i was) but for some reason or another the payments were being shown as coming from my dad (when i first started paying i was paying through him and we forgot to change it :S ) so if i were to get a fast car now, the insurance rates would be insane).
So im more leaning to wards a nice sleek looking car with a nice interior and what not, while not being a complete slug lol.

I was concidering getting a new cavalier thats fully loaded, but i was kinda hopeing to find something other than a j-body.

since you live in Canada how about an Acura 1.7EL?
its basically a glamorized civic (leather, bun warmers, rear disc brakes, climate control)

Lexus ES300

my GF has one, they are not expensive, leather, heater seats, cd changer, sunroof, sunroof, ABS< air bags, A/C, electronic HVAC, 3.0 liter V6 which is a very nice engine, maintenance is easy, the car hauls some ass for being an older family sedan. exterior is preaty nice looking wih projector headlights and stuff. Hers is a 96 and the only thing that ever wore out was the upper dog bone style motor mount (I'm not talking about maintenance stuff here)

If you're looking for 8-10K, look on Trader.ca in your area (you'll get Toronto too... I'm in Ottawa and I always get Toronto ads for anything I look for... apparently Toronto is local to Ottawa even though it's about a 5.5 hour drive away), you can plug in your lower and upper limits (don't put in $0, you'll get all the call for price ads, ESPECIALLY from Toronto) and get results. Buy certified and e-tested.

That is all.

Let's see... Comfortable, good mpg, etc..

Last generation Hyundai Sonata
Newer Nissan Altima 2.5
Hyundai Tiburon (get all the above, and a fairly quick car)

Or like what was mentioned above: check local listings. You never know what you're going to find.

hmmm... a V6 tiburon or sonata would be a great choice assuming you can find one around 10k canadian...

autotrader.ca seems to have quite a few 4cyl tiburons in your price range... mind you I rather save for a little longer until I can afford the V6 model.
