Whos to say he doesn't have heads, cam, LTs, exhaust, bored TB, gears, etc?
That would put him well faster than 12.9 if he's a good driver
With these cars, you have to understand the difficulty in driving them. These are quite a different monster than your f-body or stang.

Yep that is the '05 - '06 hood painted to match from the dealership. Not sure the cost.
And Lowfire is right, they are a difficult car to drag w/o hitting a wall or spinning out of control. But he's going to try it this year at Dropfest after we practice a little at WIR. Can't wait!

I think he should have stayed with the stock facia (see mine in my sig for comparison)... the SAP doesn't do it for me, but to each his own.

To anyone here who thinks this car is slow you should smoke some more crack!!!!! Oh by the way the car in those pics is mine!!!!! Have to remember even an F-body is lighter but also has less stock HP. LS1 Z28,Trans Am=315 hp, LS1 SS,WS6=330 HP. The Goat stock LS1=350 HP. And I should know I had a Camaro SS previous to the GOAT and the GOAT would for sure take it. ANd for you guys out there that think this is an easy car to drive you should smoke some more to. I almost don't dare turn the traction control off unless I want to wreck it. As far as the hood goes it is the factory 2005 hood which I got a realy good deal on. $375.00 for the hood and $300.00 for paint.

ive driven a 04 6spd , and they are alot of fun
i didnt have to many issues with the trac off , but i also didnt want to smell the salesman , when his sheet his pants , so i kept it some-what tame
if i coulda afforded 1 ida taken it on the spot , since it was a blue/blue 6spd
you got a good deal on the hood , they make the car alot better looking
id still own a 5.7 just to have a gto , even though the LS2 is alot more fun

best quarter mile time as of right now is 12.4 at 114 untuned buddy. u are lookin at my bone stock times... which where faster then urs? u got 400 pounds on me true.. but 75 horsepower. even it out. its a poor performing car.
Actually smart guy I wasn't talking about my car AT ALL. I was referring to the 04 LS1 GTO BONE STOCK times as well
