Ok I know this may seem like a stupid question to some people but i just havnt got an explaination. Why can i just put on rotors n calapers meant for the front? I've seen these posts about using other brake systems such as the Dodge Neon.
The reason is that you need brackets in the rear to mount the caliper to. The reason people do rear disc conversions from other vehicles is because alot of times the brackets can just be machined and made to fit the rear. Hope that answers your question!
how would you mount the calipers? and proportion the pressure? and have an e-brake? once you answer me these question three, maybe you'll realize why.

Front calipers will not work on the rear cuz legally your car has to have two different braking systems. In case of a hydraulic brake failure you have your emergency brake to slow and stop the car. Granted stopping with the emergency brake isnt the best thing for it, but its allot better than wreaking the car.
