like skills said is kinda how it goes as far as launching at 5 psi. You can actually see that I am rolling forward a bit from my brakes being old. Now that I put on brand new everything as far as brakes go, I can hold it at a complete stop and launch it at 5lbs..
The reason for my turbo spooling quickly like that is actually in the design of my piping and the sizes used. That is part of the reason. The other one is a modified dual port wastegate actuator and a little modding to the internal wastegate swingvalve assembly.
The bad thing about that is when I am driving above certain speeds on the highway. There is no possible way to stay out of boost. It is basically designed for a good quick launch and the turbo is a good size so it still holds power throughout the rpm range.
The guys who use those huge turbo's on here don't see boost until higher rpm's but the amount of cfm that those big a ss fuqers flow makes up for it. I designed it for quick spool to make up for being auto.
My dad's car is balls out fast. But he has no traction at all. That was before he had the flame thrower ignition system on there. Since then I don't know if I can beat him. That thing is much much faster now. I will race him again once I get my car back together. due to a slight engine fire due to a blown power steering line that sprayed on my red hot manifold. Thanks for the info. I must not be pressing hard enough on the brakes, because once I get to atmospheric my brakes won't hold. Maybe it's just the mAdTyTe low-end torque of the almighty 2200 hehe.

If I were u, buy used kits that Exploited Racing, Cavalier Connection, Jonny Mack, or Hanh because you don't want to go through all the hassle of designing, cutting, welding, testing, and driinking (beer). All there's is to an used kit will only be the turbocharger itself. If you can one that's around $1200-$1500 intercooled, get it and just spend another 300 to 400 for a new turbo if the turbo that comes the purchase is bad. <br>
