HHHhmmm. It has potential. I need to see further work, also.

that's fine man. i'm trying to get things done as fast as possible. i finally broke down and bought a new angle grinder today after dealing with my broken one for a month. the chuck on mine kept releasing so my roloc attachment would slide out and not spin and if was at the point where every minute tops i would have to tighten it again so i went and bought a new one. i personally love the lights. i think they look a ton better already without even being mounted and i still have to get rid of the body line currently on the widebody and make new ones to match the ones on the tails. i'm gonna try to be at a show sept 30 so i've only got another week. it's gonna be tough, but i took tuesday off since i'll be at the midnight release of halo 3 and i know i won't be playing it all day so i'll be workin on the car too.
nice man. The rear end is really starting to take shape right now!...so much more aggressive!!!
keep it up buddy.
ummmm...... so how r they gonna stay in there, looks like the molds push out where the studs are located on the lights, gonna reglass those areas flat so u have something to poke thru? Or is tape the solution? Duct tape ftw!
maybe its just cause there is nothing holding the bottom of the light but it looks as tho its crooked.
i love the rear wheel are you gonna build the front end like this or leave it less extreme ? just curious also i like the swap
its gonna look sick when its done
scott-that's just because it's being held in with tape and nothing was actually glassed in on that side in that pic. i didn't realize i never took any pics after both sides were glassed. they're actually very even. if they're off by 1/8 inch then they're off by a lot.
jay-i'm leaving the front less extreme. the wheels currently on it will be replaced by something that has yet to be determined that will line up with the new lines of the car much better. thanks for the compliments
all i got done tonight was some more sanding. i don't have much time to work on it in the evenings by the time i get home from work and eat dinner. the weekends are my bigger work days so hopefully this weekend i'll be able to bang out a lot of work. my gf is actually very into helping me with it. i'm teaching her what to do and checking on her here and there while i do other stuff. idk if she likes it because it's new or different from our normal routine of things, or if she feels that the sooner my car's done the less time i'll be taken by something that's not her lol.
dang it I did the same tail conversion like a few days before you did it looks like lol.. crap
oh well.. it looks awesome
Everything is looking great so far man.. keep working at it
Thanks
Shaun

NOW UPDATE!
lol i haven't quite decided on the filler yet to tell you the truth. i'm debating the normal trunk jam area that most people put it in simply because now i'm debating changing my tails again and if i do that later on down the road i don't want to have to redo all the work back there with the filler too. as far as updates, tonight i got nothing done. i had to go to verizon because my krazr (or however they're pretending to spell it) died on me. the key pad lights up if i hit the end key.....and that's all it does. worst part is they didn't have any in stock so they have to mail one to me and that'll take a couple days. i'm a not happy person right now. tomorrow's not looking good for progress either because i have to clean out the space i was working in by/in the garage and move my car so the new garage doors can be put in friday morning. i'm hoping friday night and this weekend to get a lot done. my girlfriend has offered to basically block off an entire day this weekend to help me and while she doesn't know how to really do much, she's a fast learner and she can spread filler pretty smoothly.
I Love and Want your Hood lol
2 month bump any updates?

yeah, come on man, hurry up already will ya
But seriously though, great work going on so far man. From you're first post until now, I've seen some good fiberglass improvements so far. Keep on chugging!
Do I gotta make a trip up there to get your ass to finish this car, so me and Jeffie can "borrow" it.... lol
bubba-please do. i've stopped working on it since droptoberfest because a bunch of stuff from the garage got moved into my tent. there is currently no room in the garage or in the tent to house the car and i don't want to keep working with filler and having to cover the car every night or spray it every night to keep the moisture out of it. when i can get the tent cleaned out (i'm working on it) i'll get back to work. sorry there haven't been any updates.
and damn my premium for running out!!! lol forgot to say-thanks vince. i try to learn as i go along and improve as well. glad to see i am

thanks. i was going for that same kinda thing they did with the aztec where you can have a tent attached to the car so you can go camping and never leave the vehicle. i figure it'll get it's first use at the bash in 08.
I thoroughly hate snow. I would NEVER move upstate.
if i could afford it i'd be somewhere much further south than ny. trust me. but even with 2 jobs and living at my parents house i have no money. it's just plain sad.
