Hello all,
Well, like I promised from my "REMEMBER HANZENRIDER" post on the General forum, here are the pictures of my new Z24. Right now it needs serious clean up inside and out. Then the modding process will begin. The Modifications will be strictly bolt-ons because this car will be my daily driven like my White Z24 was before I supercharged it. The Tan interior is not as bad as i thought it'd be. I've had graphite in my previous two Cavaliers and I think this time around, I think i will enjoy a Two tone interior with the Tan. We'll see how that turns out once I start changing it around. IF ANYONE HAS A SPARE DASHBOARD TOP COVER AND WANTS TO GET RID OF IT, GET IN TOUCH WITH ME!
So, any questions/comments?
Dirty!!!!!
Yes, thats a sunfire steering wheel and gauges you're seeing...

looks pretty clean
needs a good clean up under the hood
Cool, good luck with it.... that shift knob looks a little crazy.

Words that you can't use in modding: Finished, Perfect, Cheap.
I see some Cadence CWM-6 crossovers
other than the shift knob and the red engine bay paint, I dig it. The dark blue goes fine with the tan interior. i personaly dont think tan interiors are all that sexy, but it fits decent with the dark blue car.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

If you are anything like me you are going to hate that tan interior. They are a nightmare to keep clean. Then again if you change the carpet door panels and top dash cover to dark grey the two tone interior will not be so bad. The things I mentioned were the tan peices I noticed were the hardest to keep clean when mine was tan. I was really against changing my entire interior but I am glad I did. IMO it was one of the best mods I did. I also think the dark grey looks much better with the blue. That can not be the original IDI cover right? I thought they all said 2.4 TWIN CAM How come you do not want to sc this one? The kit is a steal at only $1600 brand new.
FORGET GIRLS GONE WILD WE HAVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING GONE WILD!
lookin good man....welcome back. and like wade said...how can you not want a s/c for this car?
wade: its an IDI cover from a 2.3 LO quad 4 dohc.
Great solid starting point! Best of luck on this J!
looks nice, just please take off those gay windshield wipers!
Looks nice, can I have your front bumper/lip?
First things you need to do are ditch the shift knob and wipers.
are those Mr7s i spot? must be why u didnt show us the rims on it
nice pickup man
LOL, thanks for the comments all...
The Rims are aftermarket and I didnt want to move the car out of my RV parking just to take a pic of it. I dont have any OEM rims for the cav so when i get the chance, I'll capture more pictures and if you guys like the rims, I'd trade em for 95-99 rims. TRADE....
Dont worry, the shiftknob is coming out and the wipers is a big must to change over. I have a lot in store for this car and it'll be a fun project. The reason why im not going to supercharge it is because of three reasons... One...Reliablity (daily driver), Two....NO MORE 91 octane gas (my celica requires 91 and the gas prices are crazy), three...HEAT (I live in Arizona and my goal is to make the motor run cooler during the summer. I dont wanna make the motor work harder than it needs to). If the GM charger came intercooled, I'd consider it.
My 2004 Toyota Celica is up for sale and I will miss it when it gets sold. If any of you are interested in hearing the price, email me.
Again, thanks for the comments...
