Actually, now that I'm going through things, I can show a few minor updates.
Car has 20% tint all around (save for windshield, see above). Homer J finally has a system:

Very nice! I just recently got my system back then promptly sold it, didn't miss it as much as I had thought.

It's not sealed off. When I made a few years ago, I extended the sides about 3.5 -4.5 inches to make room for the cover to screw onto. There is a nice gap in the top/bottom to allow it to breathe.
Originally, I intended to build it with fans installed, but I ran this set up in my car for about 6 months with no issues whatsoever.
