Goodbye JBO
Friday, September 29, 2006 9:42 AM
So yesterday i woke up knowing i had to take the cavalier from what it was to as stock as possible by 8pm. i started taking seats out, swapping headlights, disconnecting HIDs and putting back in halogen, engine parts, toyota parts, pulled the system, pulled the whole rear suspension and swaybar, then my buddy martin showed up and we continued on the front which was a BIA might i add
but heres a few pictures of the cavalier meeting the 07 cobalt and the final hours. RIP CAVY you will be missed
also goodbye to JBO many things learned, good times meeting people off of here, and watching cars evolve such as phlatcav, big poppa and watching lenko pioneer different ways to do this and that. so goodbye and farewell jbo. and mods can still kiss it (_)_)

thanks for the response guys! well i think i was depressed when writing that but i remembered HEY! i still got the 02 eco ( my womans ride ). It got a few of my parts such as suspension, those where her wheels on my car, and the HIDs and black housing lights, and a few yota goodies. so i will be here from time to time, not as much tho. lol i was mean making it meet the replacement huh? sadley enough shes going to auction tomorrow. they needed to replace too many things to sell it and since its a 2000 theyre letting her go. sad to see her out in the back of the lot.

trd - i got back to you on that pm
scotty b - lol. true man true
nightmaress - I LOVE it. i hit the gas and its there. and its quiet. LOVEIN IT.
white cavy and herman - thanks guys shes in good hands.
ruen - i love your car. its one i will be checking on from time to time.
kustom J - im workin 3 jobs to afford the car/insurance/ and have a safety blanket of money for nice new clothes, plenty of mods ( keeping it clean tho, mostly gmp parts ) and vacation money and whatnot. i dont want to struggle and keep things tight. i want to still live comfortable.
not bad for a car tho at 20 years old tho!
thanks again guys for the positive response

i could be wrong, but i remember reading on cobaltss. net that the 07s were getting polished 17s, not 18s. some people liked this b/c they're polished, but a lot of people complained about the size.

When I give in the keys to the cavalier, it will be to move up a level - personally I can't see the reasoning behind getting a cobalt in the first place. With that aside the new car does look nice, enjoy it, and go show up some civics
