Tell all you a trick the exhaust guy did with my exhaust. If you get some high temp paint and paint the exhaust black you don't notice it as much. and you notice the tips more.

would a flowmaster 40 work just as well in place of the dynomax as far as performance and sounds goes?

It will fit as long as its for the camaro but As for sound I cant say. Its not a perforated core muffler its a chambered style so the sound will not be the same.
