why auto you ask. Why not auto. Do you know that I run quicker than most five speeds ever will Not all five speeds but most.. Think about it. I may have some drivetrain loss but not much at all. And while 5 speed guys are missing shifts and reving too high at the start and lighting up tires and snapping axles and burning up clutches and etc.... My turbo spools and thats it. I am gone. The five speed guys loose spool between shifts. I have raced mostly stick cars and the ones who come close to me or beat me are the automatic guys with much bigger engines. such as camaro's and ta's But not for long.
I may sound cocky but i am just stating the facts man. Sure I now need to build up the auto tranny but that I knew would be an issue once i was boosted anyways. I have a 5speed 2000 Z24 as my daily driver and i would not trade out my turbo parts for any reason over to that car. Its pointless. for possibly a couple tenths in the quarter if driven perfectly which does not happen all the time. which we all know who own stick. I have the best of both worlds. Drive a stick Z every day. and have a turbo auto Z which is relaxing to drive and powerfull.

thanks for the comments. I would race those muscle cars Kool Rock Steady but i don't street race anymore. lol seriously. track or nothing. If Cavaliers had better brakes i would probably still do it. but they don't and i have had them go out from hard braking. and with as much power as i am making, and being on a busy street. that is not a good combo.

Your video brings up an excellent point for those contemplating a turbo versus s/c. The s/c will NEVER cause an engine fire! It's amazing how such a simple little oil leak can destroy so much.

that to me is not just a simple little oil fire. And it was power steering fluid ,not oil. when i forced the wheels it sprayed on the downpipe. and combusted. Supercharger is nice but cant make the power of a turbo. Yes , you won't have as much heat or oil issues . But I wouldn't trade my turbo kit for a charger kit any day.
