I have a 2005 chevy cavalier and I was wondering if anyone knows of a company that makes a hub adapter to fit it. So, I can put a momo or grant steering wheel on it. I don't know when chevrolet changed it but in my 2005 the steering shaft in steering colum is smaller in diameter than the previous years of cavalier. I have tried the momo and grant hub adafters and whole in adapter that slides on to steering shaft in adapter is bigger that shaft in car. I talked to grant several months ago and they said they were working on making one. Momo has a page somewere on the interenet that states hub adapter for cavalier has whole in it too big to fit newer cav. Please advise if someone knows of a company making them to fit my model of car or if anyone has any info on this. Thank's for any help you can give.
oh great I have an 04 and was just about to get the momo adapter, you used 2401? i think that's the part #
the momo one works. i have an 03 with one on. 95-05 never changed so you either had the wrong part or something was done wrong
Actually the size of the splines changed somewhere along the ways, I think it was either 03 or 04. I know becasue when i went to install a tilt column from a 96 I couldn't get the wheel on. I have to buy a new splined part from gm and rebuild the column to make it work.
