I think that I'm gonna lay off the power window switches for the time being because I noticed today that they are a little more shaped than the door locks (not flat enough) and might be a bitch to smooth out with the clear plastic and glue.
I'm planning to spend most of Sunday working on my sunroof button project, though. I'll keep you guys posted.

Again you come up with a great new idea Steve and I sit here waiting for my order from March. Don't know if you forgot about it or not but you still owe me the following items:
1. Carbon Fiber shift plate
2. Carbon Fiber fog light cover
3. Silver Engine oil cap covers
I emailed you about two months ago and you said you were on it, but here I still am, waiting. The only thing I want now is item number 3 as I have already taken care of the first two myself. This will be my final word on it, and then in 2006 I will participate in NO more off-topic BS.
I just think it's really sad that someone would come into a thread where something new is being given away and the mood is good and Holiday-oriented and act like that.
It goes to show that our society puts NO emphasis on teaching basic manners any more. What he did is entirely his parent's fault.
Despite what I have said in some of my rants this year, I do feel that JBO is at least 90% cool people, which is why I did the giveaway. The other 10% will eventually grow up and hopefully NOT be replaced by a new, more inbred generation.
I am sorry that I allowed many of them to "get my goat" this year and as either Cannon Fodder or Wild Weasel said "caused me to shoot myself in the foot" so many times. The bullet holes in my foot are healing well - I plan to return in 2006 with the goal of rebuilding my business to give 100% Excellent customer service and make as many new friends as possible.
All of the 10 sets of decals are now in the mail - I will contact the other interested parties and arrange more via email. Once we all have our lock switch mods done, we can parade our "Hack" pics in a new thread.

Hack??? i duuno what you mean by that but if you look at the pics on the front page, it looks flawless. It all depends on how each persons handy craftsmanship is.... if you want it, DO it, but be sure you know what youre doing, make sure you understand the steps..........

Just to clear this up, I already emailed Steve and apologized for coming off the wrong way in my post earlier. I did not mean for it to come out the way it did. I do not blame Steve for the reaction he took, and I do agree that there are too many people who start stupid stuff here on the .org and I don't want to be included in that group.
