If It ain't broke... you ain't doin' it right.
Offset? Centerbore? IIRC Volkswagon rims fit on j's and isn't audi a part of volkswagon.
Isn't the Audi TT lug pattern 5x112?
I can tell you 2 things..
1) Yes they fit, and 2)
THEY LOOK HORRIBLE!!!!
Seriously I could not stop laughing at how disgusting they looked on my car/a sunfire. I wouldn't even use them as spares if I had to. Trust me, I don't care what kinda deal you get on them, don't even waste any more time doing investigating, no amount of cosmetic work will ever make those things look right on a Sunfire, and also I think the hubs on them were too thick, you'd have to get longer lug bolts to make them fit safely.

yes, mk4(98ish and up) and up VAG(Volkswagon Auto Group, inc. Audi) wheels are 5x100 and fit our cars. Personally i would rather have the wheels off the vr6 GtIs in 2001
btw, if they were 5 spokes they would look hawt
thx for the replies guys... the wheels are actually the 5 spoke chrome-ish ones that look like the cobalt ss wheels. and IMO look pretty hot.

carefull tho, VW offsets are alot smaller than ours.
they will stick out alot like johns did.
keep and eye on those stock offsets.

ok i checked and the TT rims have an offset of 32mm. i can't install them on my car to check because my car is parked for the winter. but i need to give an answer as to whether or not i want these rims by monday, so if anyone can tell me if these rims would fit safely i'd really appreciate it. Also if they stick out too far because of the offset, what kind of problems would it cause, and can it be remedied?

If the offset is the same on the TT wheels that I had installed in the pictures above, then I would for sure say
NO, you can not safely bolt them on without modifications.
