I got ahold of Weapon R in search of a way to eliminate my HAHN plenum. I was having problems with it not sealing and blowing off. Eric in PHX had bought a used Weapon R intake just for the metal piece that connects the intake to the TB for his turbo setup.
I made a call today and got a price and part# for this piece. I still need to come up with a couple of reducers to make it all work. I should have all the pieces in the next couple of days. The alum. piece has a 3" inlet/outlet. Pics to come when I have all the pieces.
I know i'm not the only one looking for this so I decided to post.
Part# 810117101 $35+shipping.
Lack of being able to tighten the clamp any more that they use to the TB.
do you have a picture of this TB coupler thingy from weapon R ?? or maybe a link to see what it looks like? wanna see if it will fit on a Ecotec, my 90 rubs the top of my hood a tad =(
I haven't received it yet, but it's going on my eco and I know they don't rub the hood.
hmm, wonder if that wll clear the eco's thorttle linkage bracket..it sits right next to the TB on the drivers side of it...well let us know how it goes installing it on a eco FstcavZ24 =)
It should fit just fine on an eco. Heres a pic of it on my eco.
ahh yeah..looks good..well ok, looks like im ordering one too =)
I just got off the phone with them and ordered the exact part you see in the picture and the part # you give up top isnt the right one..they told me thats for a standard 90 degree elbow??? i told them i need the aluminum peice that fits on the TB and they knew right away what i was talking about and gave me this # instead...839113101
ask for the part # if you guys want the metal elbow that connects to the TB like shown above..it was $35.00

post a pic of what you get when it arrives. Mine looks exactly like the one tmnt328 posted above.
Well I got mine and the reducers needed.
TB to the WR piece needs a 3"-2.75" reducer.
WR piece to charge pipes
I needed 3"-2.25" reducer.
Looks like I solved my boost leak problems. I peak at about 13psi and will sometimes fall to 10ish-11ish. Way better than when I used to peak at 10 and fall down to 8ish. Also my AFR's went from being butt ass rich to 11.1-11.8. I'm happy as hell to get soem things figured out.
Looks good man! so im gonna need a rubber coupler thats 2.75 inch to 3 inch to put the metal elbow from weapon R onto my TB?? crap =( thanks for the heads up...mine should be in friday and that gives me time to order one.
question what size is the opening on it, and how is the hood clearence, my cf hood is hitting everything under the sun, we've tried a buncha things.
thanks!!!
I have a 3 inch pipe onto my tb so thats why I was wondering
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
Hood clearence doesn't seem to be a problem with it. The WR piece has 3" opening on both sides.
i called hahn and bought parts to replace my silver plenum to the rubber elbow for 50 bucks
how can I pay weapon r btw... check over the phone? or does it have to be a cc
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
they take credit card..maybe other arrangments will surfice..but they took my CC.
qbe , ive still got that aem elbow , but it will require some work to hold the boost though , and reworking of your charge pipe
OKAY so which part# is the correct #???? The woman who answers the phone for ordering knows nothing. 3101-or 7101?????
Part# 810117101 $35+shipping.
That's what I ordered and it was exactly what I needed.
i havent gotten mine yet but if your gonna order it ..just describe the part you need LOL...less confusion ....
