hey whats up , i was on ebay and looking at these t3/t4s and one kind was called "XS Power" i was wondering if anyone was running these turbos or knows anything about them . all i know is that they are stage III and that they say they have a garret wheel and they are brand new with a two year warranty for 250.00 . should i take the gamble or not thanks for the help guys

there was a thread on another car forum about XSPower turbo's.
they apparently split at the casting line on the compressor side. They're held together by glue.
As soon as this person hit boost, it split in half.
Don't waste your money and get burned, buy from a reputable company.

My buddy just got one, apparently they company said that they fixed the problem in the newer turbos. There was a truck that had one and it exploded and killed the exhaust manifold, it's on the ranger power sports truck forum. The guy mounted the turbo upside down and that plus the glue thing pooched the whole setup. The site is down so I can't get a link to the thread.

i dont have the best of luck so im going to hold off on the turbo and settle and get a garret that way i wont have anything to worry about . Thanks to all who replied you guys probably saved my ass

Id use it but I already have a t3 t4 from exploited
wow that really sucks cause i have one sitting in my garage. can you change the compressor housing and everything be ok? because the the other housing is turbonetics. (turbine)
There have also been people with the XS Power / Stone Mountain Racing turbos who complain about their turbos going out after a few weeks / months. They say something about the seals going bad, and the turbo starts to smoke.

Why not? 100,000 RPM + Boom = parts being sent through your intake and into your intercooler at the least, and if you aren't intercooled, right into the engine.

ssauto@!#$ is GARBAGE. Do NOT buy their stuff. I've heard of several turbos blowing because of that half ass glue they use. Oh yea and the wastegates arn't any better....Just a heads up

i have a turbo from them, never installed it, but from all the pictures ive seen of the bad ones, mine is noticeably different, so im not sure if its bad or not maybe they have changed them for the better?
