No not a vid of my bov, but just saw something and was wondering if anyone has ever seen them or know anything about them. Pretty cool design, think of it being a 3" diameter tial lol.
Heres the link

That's clever. I wonder how well that would work on my set up.
Yea Im interested to find out more about it, because of the size its prolly better suited for higher boost settings but maybe theres softer springs and what not. If adjustable I bet you could get this to have absolutely zero surge and still perform great. I also would like to hear it lol.
Hes got another vid of it working, also looks like he does some quality stuff alot of cnc billet manifolds and such.
Forgot to add. I wonder how well it seals. Its like a giant turboxs style flange lol, slides into an o-ring with a few small screws to keep it in place.
yeah the seal really doesnt impress me. I can see that having sealing issues and leaking. i would think there is to be a better way for it to attach and seal. pretty cool design though.
Well Im sure you could easily make it coupler on, or weld v-bands pipe to it. Kinda is easier than having to worry about welding a new flange or getting a flanged pipe or whatever.

you would essentially be buying 2 vbands, vs 1 vband, and then the price just keeps going up. I got my tial for $250 with flange and all. so its all about how well it really works for all psi's and if it leaks or not.
Yea I know Im not comaring it to anything yet because I dont know how well it works or the initial price of it anyway, just curious if anyone had seen or heard anyhing about it before. Ill admit my tial was the best bov Ive had yet, even though it took the life of my first turbo lol.
I realy should look at other forums I guess, I know j-body isnt the best place to look for new ideas in the bigger boost build department. Like some of the better built cars on here refer to Honda, dsm, etc forums for answers they cant find here.
Ingenious idea, but I agree with the sealing issues... I wouldnt trust a high psi system to be held together by 4 extremely small allen head screws. i would definitely just weld it into the system.
"You can only feed them semen for so long before their legs fall off."
the bov on their site shows for $250
Very cool, but I'll stick with the norm.
