my best friend out of salt lake city is trying to get some interest in custom equal length ram style turbo manifolds. he's an excellent tig welder and knows exactly what he's doing. we are trying to see how many are interested before starting to make them and naming a price. any one?
Well Brett I know there is a demand for a nice manifold for the 2200 and 2.2 motors. There was a company called J-tuners that no longer is in business. They made a kick ass manifold for the ohv cav, but since they are no longer around the ohv guys are stuck to the log mani...
I personally have an ohv and if I found a manifold like that I would be all over it. Here are some pics form there page.....

would u be able to make a downpipe for it also? cause i have a log manifold now but the guy didn't send me a downpipe so i'm looking for someone to either make me one or get a new mani with a downpipe.
Yeah...if he's familiar with welding and would be willing to make manifold + downpipe combos for the 2.4, I'll bet he'd get a great deal of interest. He/you wouldn't have to provide the whole kit, people could source a turbo and other necessary parts from elsewhere, but that manifold and downpipe seem to be the hardest things to come by...
If the price is right I would be interested, but based on the ridicoulous price of the other previous equal lengths for our car I won't hold my breathe.

If you have any interest, I have 2 of the J-tuners manifolds and downpipes, that you could use as a mock up for your design. I am always interested in new ones with different materials. The reason I have 2 is because they have a habit of cracking, so one for repair while the other one is on. I think one might be beyond repair. I could send you one if you give me a sweet deal on a new one. PM or email me if interested.

Id be interested as well, However, like others said, it really depends on the price. I dont see paying anymore then $250ish for a manifold, or $3-325 for a Manifold + downpipe combo.

Like I said earlier, I would be more than willing to send out one of my J-tuners mani's for fabrication design, but so far no nibbles. Someone contacted me that sounded promising to get these made again, but I havent heard anything since.
