Anybody remeber what the resistance is on the passenger side air bag for a 98 Cavalier? ...I think I need to replace my resistor.

Here is the response I received from tech on the passenger air bag:

The SDM(airbag module) looks for the resistance of the pass. side airbag deployment loop to be in a range from 1.6 ohms to 2.9 ohms. so any resistor within that range should do the trick.
No reset procedure other than clearing codes after installing resistor. Get the system scanned, may have other codes other then pass. airbag circuit.
