couple questions here about this dunno if there is a topic i am in a rush sorry if there is

is this the positive connection if so is it ok to go from here straight to the battery witha fuse in the middle of it coz the wire coming off of here goes up and around the engine bay and then i lose it

this is where my negative from the battery ends ...i would consider this the block not the chassis right....so is there still a reason to run a wire from the block to the chassis if i already run the negative wire from the battery to the block?

so this is what it should look like ...positive from battery to alt. (red line) oh yah forgot the fuse in the middle of the line but i know it goes there ...negative bettery terminal to block(green)... ground from Block to chassis(Blue)

sorry i know i am prolly double posting this someone has prolly asked this but i couldn;t find it so i posted this ...i hope someone can help... If that little dinky red wire is the positive from my battery on the alt. then i think this upgrade with in fact help my dimming lights

Thanks,
Alex

thats why its beneficial to upgrade the wire because its so small stock.

I wouldn't lay your Alt to Batt wire on top of your exhaust mani though

This is a recipe for a car-b-que. Your laying a wire over some of the hottest component in your engine bay will only melt the insulation away and allow a hot wire top spark around and start a fire. Also the coolant line that runs across the engine bay is conductive. If the hot wire electrifys this part, it will allow power to flow through the DEX-COOL. It's call electrtrollis and it is a killer of wiring HARNESS AND SENSORS.

I think that diagram is just an essential idea. MOST people would be intelligent enough to route the wires where they wouldn't cause problems. Like, say, on top of a hunk of metal that reached temperatures of hundreds of degrees. I dunno, seems like common sense to me.

yes the diagram was just to understand what excatly i was doing i have done this since ...but i have yet to ground the engine block to the chassis i have done 2 of the three and it has stopped some dimming but not all of it
