Right now i have one of the older model Phoenix Gold amps and i was gonna get some new amps and I wanted to know if they were worth the money because i didnt pay for the one i have now and im trying to get the most for my money.

What model do you have now? I have a zx450 and 2 zpa0.3 amps that I'm not using anymore, I never had any problems with them.

Phoenix Gold is absolute JUNK!
I took every piece out of my car and replaced it with Concept, 3 of our stores show vehicles were full of Phoenix Gold last spring. We dropped this brand at our store all together because of non stop service issues. They over rate their power and have long turn around times to get stuff fixed. Nothing but problems. 12 out of 16 of our Tantrum amps had to be serviced once, and 8 had to be serviced twice. The ti9elite speakers were 100% warranty replaced for not handling the rated power.
I would strongly recommend another brand.

^^^ That's why I asked about the model. I've heard the new stuff suffers in quality. I haven't bought any PG products in the past 10 years or so. I only can speak for the older stuff that I have.
Yep. They used to be high end. The engineer who designed the good stuff back then left and started his own company (Concept). Now Phoenix is nothing but service issues.

I agree phoenix gold used to be really good for the money, but know they are going for the cheaper market it seems, and not producing the higher quality like they did have.
So I just switched to different Brand !!!!!!!!

Whats a good brand to switch to. The pg amp i have right now is a zx600ti. But for graduation im getting new subs and i was going to get the RE sx's and i want something that will push them good and ive heard alot of different opinions on the new pg stuff.

I have always been a big fan of pioneer. No matter what you buy, top model or bottom of the line, its always atleast decent. I think its well worth the money.
i like my power acoustic amp....but im by no means an uadio expert, i just know it turns on and always works when i want it too,

The sub amp is gonna be for 2 12" RE SX's and the components are CDT audio.
I want to keep the same brand for all amps.
And probably around 500-600 for both of them, a 4 channel and a mono.
