For the 00-05 cars, you'd have to install a different switch. That's the only way I know how.
so just like a new switch where the old one goes. Like thers this little computerchip thingy on the end of it and if I take that off and plug it back in with out the Computer chip would that work?

Not exactly... you have to bypass the stock switch entirely...
You'd have to swap in a 95-99 style switch and re-wire it to the relay. I have a meeting to go to, I'll elaborate more later.

Can't be 02+... 00+ are all wired the same. What's your method? I'd like to compare to mine.
I used a 95-99 style switch (which is actually an on/off switch... as opposed to the 00-05 pushbutton which "requests" the fogs be turned on... which the BCM controls). I cut off the wiring to the fog light relay from the BCM, and wired it to the switch directly. Worked like a charm. Power came from the parking lights, so all you had to have was the parking lights on... but as long as you turned off the parking lights when you left the car, you couldn't accidentally leave the fogs on.
Mine, i found the only big grey fog lamp relay, in the bumber, cut two wires, and soldered them together... thats it.....
NE time i turn on my parking, low's, high's, they come on, they stay off with DDL's, i think and if i need to kill them, i can do so, by swicthing my factory switch off....
